Refund Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

The short version. An Occasion Beam is a one-time purchase. If your moment never reaches the person it was made for, you get your money back. Once they have opened it and watched, the moment has been delivered, and a first reaction cannot be un-watched. That one line decides almost everything below.

1. What You Are Buying

The only thing for sale on TINFLE is an Occasion Beam: a private video reveal you build for one person, delivered by a private link or printed card, with the chance to receive their reaction back. It is a single one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions, no credits, and nothing on TINFLE ever bills you automatically. The full price is shown before you pay, and payment is handled by Stripe.

2. Before They Watch It

Changed your mind, sent it to the wrong person, or the plan fell through? If the person you made it for has not watched it yet, email us and we will refund you in full, no questions asked. The link stops working when the refund is issued.

3. If Your Video Does Not Pass the Safety Check

Every video on TINFLE goes through an automated safety screening. If your upload is rejected, your purchase is not lost: you can upload a different video at no charge. If you would rather not, we will refund you in full instead.

4. If Something Breaks on Our End

A dead link at the moment of the reveal is the one failure we treat as unforgivable. If a fault on our side stops your moment from playing, you get a full refund, always. We will also do everything we can to still make the moment happen.

5. After They Have Watched

Once your person has watched the reveal, the purchase is complete and is not refundable. What you bought is their genuine first reaction, and it has already happened. Like any personalized moment, it cannot be returned or exchanged.

One thing that is never a fault: whether they share their reaction is always their choice. If they watch your reveal but decline the camera, the moment was still delivered. That said, if you believe something genuinely went wrong on our side, tell us. A person looks at every case.

6. If It Is Never Opened

An Occasion Beam link stays live for 7 days (counted from the reveal day, if you scheduled one). If the link expires without ever being opened, reach out to us. Depending on what happened, we will mint you a fresh link so the moment can still land, or refund you. We look at these one at a time and we will make it right.

7. Deals, Bonus Codes, and Purchases Made Elsewhere

8. How to Ask for a Refund

Reply to your receipt email, or write to support@tinfle.com from the email address you bought with and tell us which occasion it was. That is all we need.

Refunds go back to the card or payment method you paid with, through Stripe. They usually appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
