Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

TINFLE is operated by TINFLE Inc., a C Corporation incorporated in the State of Delaware. By creating an account on TINFLE, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Username Policy

Usernames on TINFLE are permanent. Once you choose a username, it cannot be changed. Choose carefully.

You may not register a username with the intent to:

Impersonate: Registering usernames that impersonate real people, brands, organizations, or public figures without authorization.
Squat: Claiming usernames for the purpose of selling, trading, or holding them without genuine use.
Mislead: Using names that suggest official TINFLE affiliation (e.g., @tinfle_support, @admin).

TINFLE reserves the right to reclaim, reassign, or remove any username that violates this policy, at our sole discretion. Affected accounts will retain their content but may be assigned a replacement username.

3. Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TINFLE. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it.

4. Content Guidelines

You retain ownership of the content you upload. By uploading, you grant TINFLE a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content on the platform.

You may not upload content that:

Violates any applicable law
Contains sexually explicit material involving minors
Promotes violence, hate speech, or harassment
Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
Contains malware or deceptive links

TINFLE may remove content that violates these guidelines without notice.

Reactions you receive. A reaction someone sends you is for you alone unless they allow more: you may post a copy outside TINFLE only if they allowed posting when they sent it. You are responsible for what you post, and you must take it down if the person in it asks you to.

Filming in person. "Hand them your phone" plays your Tinfle on your own phone and records the face and voice of the person you hand it to, with a red recording dot on screen the whole time. Only use it with people who are OK being filmed, and follow the recording laws where you are (some places require everyone's consent to record sound). You are responsible for that recording and for anything you post, and you must take it down if the person in it asks you to.

Automated screening. Every uploaded video is automatically analyzed before it can be played on the platform. Still frames extracted from your video are scored by automated detection systems. Depending on our current configuration, that analysis runs on our own servers, through a specialist third-party content analysis provider, or both (never with your name or account details attached). Based on that analysis, content may be approved, held for review by a human moderator, or rejected and deleted. By uploading, you consent to this processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

If your content is intended for adults, you must mark it 18+ when uploading. Marking content 18+ adjusts how it is screened but never exempts it from screening or from these guidelines.

5. Live Shows & Private Parties

When participating in a live show or private party, you acknowledge that:

Submissions are a surprise: the host cannot preview submitted content before it plays
The person on camera (the host, or the current seat holder in a party) may not submit to their own queue
Host votes affect the submitter's karma permanently
Public live shows may be viewed by any authenticated user; private parties are visible only to people who hold the invite link, and invite links die with the party

6. Karma System

Karma is a public reputation score earned through community participation. Karma cannot be purchased, transferred, or artificially inflated. Attempts to manipulate karma through coordinated voting, multiple accounts, or automation will result in account suspension.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or manipulate karma
Automated access, scraping, or bot usage without authorization
Harassing, threatening, or doxxing other users
Attempting to disrupt or exploit the platform's technical infrastructure
Selling or transferring accounts

8. Privacy

TINFLE collects your email, username, and usage data to operate the platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Your profile, karma, and uploaded content are publicly visible to other users. Uploaded videos are automatically screened for safety before they can be played. 9. Purchases, Membership & Refunds

Most of TINFLE is free. What is for sale is a Tinfle: a private video you make for one person, delivered by a private link or printed card, with the chance to receive their reaction back. Your first 3 Tinfles are free. Receiving a Tinfle is always free: the person you send to never pays, subscribes, or needs an account. There are no credits, and no card is kept on file other than for the membership's own renewals described below.

Price. Every price is shown before you pay. Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Membership. Where TINFLE offers a membership, it is a monthly plan at the price shown when you join. It covers your everyday Tinfles up to a fair-use limit of 30 a month, it renews automatically every month on the card you joined with until you cancel, and it is billed by Stripe. You can cancel anytime in Your Tinfles (Account, Membership) or by writing to support@tinfle.com; the membership then runs to the end of the month you paid for and does not renew. If the membership price changes, we will tell you by email before your next renewal at the new price, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Premium experiences. Some themes are premium: they are bought one at a time at the price shown, with a lower price for members. A premium Tinfle is a one-time purchase, not a membership.
Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by TINFLE.
Delivery. A Tinfle is delivered as a private link (and an optional printable card) that stays live for 7 days, counted from the reveal day if you schedule one.
Refunds. If a Tinfle is never delivered, you can get your money back. Once the recipient has watched it, the purchase is complete and is not refundable. Membership fees are not refunded for partial months. The full rules, including rejected uploads, faults on our side, bonus codes and the membership, are in our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.
Promotional codes. Redemption and bonus codes are single-use, have no cash value, and are cancelled if the purchase they came from is refunded before they are used.

10. Termination

TINFLE may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account by contacting support. Upon termination, your username remains reserved and cannot be claimed by others.

11. Limitation of Liability

TINFLE is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, karma, or account access.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of TINFLE after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be announced on the platform.
